Synergy Sports to Host MLB Pitch, Hit & Run Competition

Demopolis, AL - Synergy Sports Training is excited to announce that it will host a FREE Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit & Run Competition for area youth. The event is scheduled for Saturday, May 11th with registration beginning at 9:00am, check in for pre-registered participants at 9:30am and the official competition will start at 9:45am. Synergy Sports is located in Demopolis, at 1908 Mauvilla Drive. 

Pitch, Hit & Run™ is the official skills competition of Major League Baseball®. This grassroots program is designed to provide youngsters with an opportunity to compete, free of charge, in a competition that recognizes individual excellence in core baseball/softball skills.

Boys and girls are divided into four age divisions: 7/8, 9/10, 11/12, 13/14, and have the chance to advance through four levels of competition, including Team Championships at Major League ballparks and the National Finals at the 2013 MLB™ All-Star Game®.

The individual Pitching, Hitting and Running Champions, along with the All-Around Champion in each age and gender group at the Local Competition will be awarded and advance to the Sectional Level of Competition.

All participants must bring a copy of their birth certificate and have their parent or guardian fill out a registration/waiver form prior to the start of the competition. You may obtain a registration form by clicking on the link below.  You will need Adobe Reader 8.0 or later to fill in the form.   Adobe Reader is a free pdf reader and may be downloaded at www.adobe.com. Once you complete the form you may print and sign it and bring with you to the competition or submit via email and sign it at check in.
